With a completely renewed interface, maps can now be loaded as background in DXF or Shape formats and georeferenced images in JPG, ECW or JPEG 2000. If you have Internet access, you can add Web Map Services (WMS) data sources.
Among the main features a new geodesy module based in EPSG database, which lets you work anywhere in the world with different projection systems, including the new grid datum transformations, new local geoids,etc. It is also easy to create local coordinate systems compatible with MDT 6, from pairs of source and destination coordinates or by entering the parameters of existing reports.
It has also added support for new receivers and data collectors, and specific improvements for road projects, bathymetry, etc..
