tcpTUNNEL Scan for Topcon is an application for controlling tunnels in real time with a TOPCON GTL robotic station equipped with a laser scanner. Installed on a Windows tablet, it lets you scan, view point clouds, calculate profiles and stake out construction elements.

tcpTUNNEL Scan is used in tunnel works where the excavation needs to be controlled in real time. It lets you scan the vault or the face, examine the point cloud, calculate as-is profiles and check differences against the design.

The application lets you control the scanning of the tunnel vault or excavation face. It also makes it easy to view the point cloud in 3D, check measurements and detect differences between the actual section and the designed section.

tcpTUNNEL Scan calculates tunnel profiles from the point cloud captured with the scanner. It then lets you compare the measured profile with the design section, identifying under-excavation, over-excavation and geometric deviations during the work.

tcpTUNNEL Scan lets you stake out section points, blast holes, rock bolts, the pavement surface and project points. The goal is to locate elements on the tunnel quickly, reducing iterations and increasing productivity in the field.

tcpTUNNEL Scan can be complemented with tcpTUNNEL CAD and tcpScancyr for later analysis. These products let you define sections, edit profiles, generate area and volume reports, create 3D models, inspection maps and technical exports of the tunnel.
