10. Anti-fraud and Anti-spam Measures

In order to protect the website forms against fraudulent, abusive or automated (spam) submissions, APLITOP applies automatic technical filters to each submission. To this end, in addition to the form data, technical signals are processed, such as the IP address, the country of origin, submission timestamps and, where applicable, the score from Google's reCAPTCHA service.

The legal basis for this processing is APLITOP's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the security of the Website and preventing fraud and abusive use of its forms.

Submissions identified as doubtful are kept for a maximum of 30 days for manual review, after which they are automatically deleted. The technical identifiers (IP address, email and phone number) used for detection are stored in pseudonymised form, using a cryptographic hash.

This filtering is used solely to classify submissions and, where applicable, to route them for human review; it does not constitute an automated decision producing legal effects concerning the User or similarly significantly affecting them, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
