tcp PointCloud Editor 1.22: new drawing tools, 360 images and workflow improvements
The tcp PointCloud Editor 1.22 version is now available for Aplitop users.
This update includes new drawing tools, improvements in 360 image management and corrections for the application.
New 3D polyline command
One of the main new features is the new command for drawing 3D polylines using segments.
This function allows users to create geometries directly on the point cloud and is useful when defining alignments, linear elements or references that can later be used in CAD processes.
Import of Leica 360 images
tcp PointCloud Editor 1.22 adds support for importing 360 images from Leica Cyclone Register 360 PLUS BLK.
With this improvement, users can incorporate visual information from this capture environment and work with it alongside the project’s 3D data. This gives more context when reviewing scenes, paths and captured elements within the workflow itself.
XY plane at a selected elevation
Another notable improvement is the possibility to set an XY reference plane at a selected elevation, using the Z key and designation.
This tool helps users work at a specific elevation, which is especially useful for drawing, editing or checking tasks when the project requires elements to be reviewed by level, plan or defined elevation.
Improvements in drawing, orthophotos and surfaces
Version 1.22 also includes improvements in rectangle drawing using three points, regardless of the active view.
In addition, the Raster Editor now allows users to undo previous operations, orthophoto import has been improved when there is rotation in the georeference, and surface work has been optimized during the import and loading process.
Adjustments have also been made to polyline longitudinal profiles, especially in the handling of 2D polyline arcs.
Corrections included in tcp PointCloud Editor 1.22
This update includes minor corrections in automatic classification, the Raster Editor, entity elevation, and Temporary or Cloud licenses.
