Upgrade MDT: integrated AI and new advanced capabilities
If you already work with MDT 25, the first difference you will notice in tcpMDT 26 is the addition of artificial intelligence to query functions and receive workflow recommendations directly within the program. It introduces a new way to interact with MDT, helping you find the right tool faster and make better use of its capabilities.
But this upgrade goes far beyond AI. tcpMDT 26 introduces improvements in surfaces, parcels, BIM/GIS, measurements, hydrology, road design, stakeout and 3D interoperability. New tools designed to help you model, review and deliver technical information more efficiently in surveying, civil engineering and construction projects.
tcpMDT 26 combines artificial intelligence with new tools designed to make common surveying and civil engineering workflows more agile, more accurate and better connected with today’s BIM, GIS, civil works and construction processes.
Generate automatic breaklines and create digital terrain models in fewer steps, with greater control over the surface creation process.
Automatically detect parcel errors and correct them with the new interactive editing of vertices and sides, helping you work with clean, reliable data.
View, edit and label GIS data directly on drawing entities, keeping geographic information connected to the project.
Work with the IFC 4.3 standard, new properties and classifications to integrate your projects into updated BIM workflows.
Define sections, pavement layers and superelevations with new tools for linear infrastructure projects.
Work with renewed measurement tools, advanced quantity reports, construction progress tracking and a reorganised stakeout workflow supported by dedicated assistants.
Analyse flows, drainage networks and catchment areas directly in MDT, extending your civil engineering workflows without leaving your usual working environment.
Version 26 introduces artificial intelligence for querying functions and receiving workflow recommendations, along with improvements in surfaces, parcels, BIM/GIS, measurements, hydrology, road design and stakeout.
The AI assistant is available to users with active maintenance and allows them to ask questions about the software in natural language.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard protocol that allows tcpMDT 26 to connect with compatible external assistants to control certain operations through natural language instructions.
tcpMDT 26 is compatible with the AutoCAD®, BricsCAD®, GstarCAD®, progeCAD® and ZWCAD® versions listed in the datasheet for this release.
