“BIMserver.center” is a service managed by CYPE to save, synchronize and share BIM project files. As such, CYPE provides users with safe storage of BIM project files, while enabling all the agents involved to access them from any device and share them in a coordinated manner.
The development of this initiative has turned “BIMserver.center” into a collaboration platform on which to centralize and manage all files in real time, working in an efficient and intelligent manner to optimize the BIM workflow and communication between professionals.
Working on MDT with this service is subject to registration as a user at https://bimserver.center, and downloading the “BIMServer.center Sync” application from this website, which will enable us to synchronize the content on the website with your work folder.
Access to the service will be through the following dialogue boxes, in which you can enter the e-mail and password.
Once connected, we can create a new project or select an existing one, which will be defined as the current working directory. This work folder can be opened either from the website or the local directory “C: \ bim_projects” and will contain the IFC files and their associated documents that have been uploaded to the server.
