For this mode you must have the necessary equipment to support virtual reality applications and have Oculus Rift glasses, your PC is the Rift engine. To display the viewer in virtual reality mode, proceed in the same way as that explained up to now, executing any of the two DTM commands, Road route or Terrain route, to open the viewer. Once inside the viewer, depending on the command executed, you will be in one of the two modes:
In Road mode, press F4 and put on the Oculus Rift glasses, an automatic tour of the terrain will then begin, following the route established in the Road Route of DTM, the terrain can be observed in any direction by moving your head.
In Path mode, press F4, connect an Xbox console controller via Bluetooth or cable and put on the Oculus Rift glasses, in this mode you can walk freely through the terrain, displacement is made by moving the left lever of the console and the direction is indicated using your head, you will move towards where you are looking.
To exit virtual reality mode, just press F4 again.
