  • Nowadays it is increasingly common to use new methods tocollectmass data in order to quickly obtain the present state of the site, such as topographic scanners, Mobile Mapping and photogrammetric applications. In addition, information from LiDAR systems is available through public web services.
  • APLITOP has extensive experience in using point clouds for topographic projects. Our MDT PointCloud software allows you to view and edit imported points of the most common formats in the market, as well as generate digital terrain models, derive profiles, perform measurements, etc.
  • For tunnel projects, TcpScancyr calculates profiles from laser scanner data, and enables you to view infra-zones and over-excavation, generate reports, inspection maps, route simulation, etc.


  • At APLITOP we are aware that point clouds are going to be of increasing importance, and new tools are needed to automatically filter and interpret large volumes of information
  • For this reason we have participated in various research projects, which have allowed us to develop our own technology for the management of large point cloudsand we will continue to work to offer the latest technological developments to our users

The AUTO-BIM project is part of the setting-out and quality control activities for construction works.

The main objective of the AUTO-BIM project is the creation and validation of a new method for acquiring, processing and managing three-dimensional spatial data in interior spaces without GNSS coverage (global satellite navigation system). This data acquisition will be carried out electronically by an autonomous mobile robot and the data obtained will be integrated into standardised information models BIM (Building Information Modelling).
