2.2. Structure of Files and Folders
|
Each project is defined by a CAD drawing with a DWG extension and a project file with the same name and FVV extension. Different projects should not be mixed in the same folder, i.e. each folder will contain a single project.
Within the project folder there will be one sub-folder per zone.
Within each zone's folder, there will be a folder for trackers and another for surfaces.
Within the Trackers folder, there will be a folder for each tracker, where the files will be located for horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, longitudinal profile and segment files.
Inside the Surfaces folder, you'll find the design surfaces (suffix -des) and implementing or proposed surfaces (suffix -prop).
The files with the initial and final terrain will be located in the project folder itself.
