This is a value added to the slope, allowing the optical effects of sphericity and refraction on the observations to be corrected. The following formula is applied:

Ds'= Corrected slope
Ds= Original slope
K= Refraction coefficient. 0.42 by default
Rt= Earth’s radius in meters. 6370000 by default
The refraction coefficient and the Earth’s radius can be modified in the configuration.
