10.1.3. Symmetric and asymmetric vertices

Additionally, MDT can work with vertical alignments in which some of its vertices are asymmetric. In this type of vertical curve, the input tangent is different to the output tangent, as shown in the next figure.
The image shows an example of an asymmetric curve with two different parabolas. The parameter of first one is 845 and the second one is 409.634.
          In MDT it’s possible to design a vertical alignment in which symmetric and asymmetric vertical curves exist simultaneously.
          Asymmetric vertices will be drawn with all information of vertical curve, including data about input tangent and output tangent.
