9.7. Convert from 3D polyline |
A long section is extracted from a 3D polyline using this command, taking the polyline’s origin as the long section’s origin. The command requests the file name (by default, the file name corresponding to the drawing). When it is entered, it requests one to select the horizontal alignment on the command line. It then makes the relevant conversion, which may later be drawn.
As many lines are generated in the file as the polyline’s vertices. In each of these lines, distance corresponds to the length from the polyline’s origin to the vertex, and height coincides with the vertex’s height.
